Canadian Bradley Bache, the local Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A Orillia, looks forward to serving Guests and his community through elevated hospitality experiences and genuine care.

When Chick-fil-A® opened its first Restaurant in Canada in 2019, Bradley Bache stood in line outside Chick-fil-A Yonge & Bloor amid other excited Canadians – and in his words, it was “love at first bite.”

Now, he’s preparing to take the reins as the Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A Orillia in Ontario, which is slated to open in June 2024, and introduce this local community to the quality food and exceptional hospitality that are hallmarks of the Chick-fil-A experience.

Getting a taste of the company
A Burlington, Ontario native, Bradley began his career with another well-known Atlanta-based business: The Coca-Cola Company. An alumnus of the University of Ottawa, Bradley specialized in sales for Coca-Cola Canada Bottling Limited in Toronto for more than four years, garnering multiple accolades along the way.

While Bradley was excelling on that career path, he was looking for deeper purpose from his work, and he had family friends that had pursued local franchise opportunities with Chick-fil-A. Between their positive experiences and his own impressive interactions with the brand, Bradley applied for the Chick-fil-A Leadership Development Program (LDP) in 2019, and served as a Team Member at a local Chick-fil-A restaurant before beginning the program in late 2020.

Over more than three years as an LDP participant, Bradley gained high-touch exposure to everyday business operations, traveled to different Chick-fil-A restaurants to learn how to excel in various roles and learned more about the real-world challenges facing the restaurant industry. This experience reaffirmed his desire to become the local Owner-Operator of his own Chick-fil-A restaurant.

Embracing opportunities in Orillia
As Bradley embraces this next chapter of his life journey, one of the things he looks forward to the most is serving the local community.

“It’s an exciting time for Orillia right now as the community is growing and evolving, and I’m energized by the opportunity to be a part of this positive change,” Bradley says. “Through my Chick-fil-A restaurant, I want to help address hunger, and support our education and healthcare systems in the Orillia community.”

From donating surplus food from his restaurant to help feed those in need through the Chick-fil-A Shared Table™ program, to the desire to mentor students and young professionals and sponsor youth sports leagues, Bradley is thrilled for the opportunities to give back in the neighbourhoods surrounding his restaurant.

He’s also focused on developing his Team Members and creating opportunities for advancement within his Restaurant. “I want my Team Members to feel genuinely cared for, build meaningful relationships, and truly enjoy their experience working at Chick-fil-A.”

And Bradley’s guiding vision for his restaurant sums all of this up perfectly: “I want to serve great food and care, while supporting our community.”
